Responsibilities:
- Handle procurement activities for materials, spare parts, and services related to vessel and logistics operations.
- Manage vendor database, quotation comparison, and purchase order processing.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure proper stock control and timely replenishment.
- Coordinate with the technical and operations team for procurement needs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and standard procurement procedures.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering, Management, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in procurement and inventory, preferably in the shipping industry.
- Strong technical understanding of marine equipment and spare parts (a marine technical background is highly favourable).
- Familiar with SAP/ERP or inventory systems.
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently.
- Local candidates (based in Samarinda or the nearby area) are highly preferred.
