Clarification on Media Reports on IMC Pelita Logistik Fleet

Jakarta, 10 June 2025 – In response to reports circulating in various online and social media platforms regarding the presence of vessels named ‘JKW Mahakam’ and ‘Dewi Iriana’, which are allegedly linked to certain parties, we hereby provide the following clarification as part of our information disclosure to the stakeholders.


PT IMC Pelita Logistik Tbk (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) is a maritime logistics services provider, engaged in transportation of bulk goods, especially mineral products through a vessel chartering for various clients across Indonesia. This business activity is conducted under contractual agreements and is subject to the applicable laws and regulations in Indonesia.

The Company would like to emphasize that it has no affiliation, ownership, or involvement in any mining activities, including those in Raja Ampat area. The Company’s role is solely that of a marine transportation service provider, and the operations of our vessels are conducted by charterers based on their respective logistics needs.


The naming of the vessels “JKW Mahakam” and “Dewi Iriana,” such names were determined internally by the Company without any intention to refer to or be associated with any public figure. The naming also reflects operational areas in East Kalimantan, particularly around the Mahakam River.

The circulated documentation is outdated and does not reflect current operational conditions. The vessels mentioned in the reports are presently operating in the East Kalimantan region and are not involved in transportation activities in Raja Ampat.


The Company remains committed to the principles of good corporate governance, including transparency to all stakeholders. The Company also consistently ensures that all operational activities are conducted in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
